Product Specification

You’re looking at a classic chukka boot. Thumbing through old menswear magazines, you see this boot you see time and time again on guys at the peak of style in the early ’60s. All too often chukka boots flop around, but our chukka has a sturdy, confident form thanks to a sculpted heel cup that gives shape to the rest of the shoe. Take a look at the gentle sloping collar and all that single needlework, and you’ll realize what all those old-school magazines were on to.

Fit

US 7–13 in half sizes. Our shoes fit about a half size larger than most sneakers; if you sit between two, the size guide will settle it.

Care

Wipe with a soft cloth, condition the leather every few months, and use cedar shoe trees between wears.

Shipping & returns

Complimentary shipping, returns and exchanges within the United States. Thirty days from delivery, unworn, in the box.

The film

The Austin, in motion.

Look closely.

The Austin

A chukka with a spine.

Look through the menswear magazines of the early sixties and this boot keeps turning up, on men who knew exactly what they were doing. Most chukkas slump. This one holds its shape, because we built a proper heel cup into it.

Three eyelets, a clean collar, a single line of stitching. Nothing to add.
